FAQs
Welcome to our FAQs and Dress Code Policy page! Here, you’ll find answers to common questions about our classes, studio policies, and dress code requirements. We hope this information helps you feel prepared and excited for your time at Inspire Dance Company. If you don’t see your question here, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] or call us at 781-798-4251. We’re always happy to help!
If you miss a class, you are welcome to make it up by attending one of our other classes. Please contact the front desk to schedule your makeup class.
For pick-up and drop-off, you may use any available parking spaces in front of the building. If you are coming into the studio (such as older dancers who drive themselves or parents coming inside), please use the parking lot behind the studio. Parking near Sweet Frog and using the walkway next to it provides the easiest route to the front of Inspire.
To add, change, or drop a class, please contact our front desk staff for assistance. Please note that tuition is charged on the 1st of each month, so if you wish to withdraw from a class, this must be communicated in writing at least 5 days before the 1st.
DRESS CODE POLICY
At Inspire Dance Company, we believe that a consistent dress code fosters discipline, unity, and safety among our dancers. Each dance genre has specific attire to ensure comfort, freedom of movement, and adherence to proper technique. Please review the dress code requirements for each class below to help you come prepared and ready to dance!
Your preschooler should wear clothing that allows them to move freely and feel comfortable. While tights are suggested, they are not required. Pink or black ballet slippers are required for all preschool dance classes.
Jewelry and watches are not allowed in class.
Students should wear a black leotard or a leotard in studio colors, skin tone convertible tights, ballet slippers, and black tap shoes. Hair should be in a bun. Skirts are allowed but not required.
Tiny Tumbling (Ages 5 – 7):
Students should wear tight-fitting shorts or leggings in black or studio colors, a leotard or tight-fitting top in black or studio colors, and be barefoot (no socks). Hair should be pulled back. No t-shirts or baggy clothing are allowed as teachers need to see the correct alignment of the spine and because students spend considerable time upside down.
